Placing the Water Detector

The alarm of the water alarm is triggered if two of the three pins on the bottom of the detector in contact with water.

1. Place the detector at a place where the water first flows along with leakage.

Some smart places
  • Under or next to the washing machine.
  • In a solar water heater, under the connection to the pipes.
  • In basements or crawl holes at risk of flooding

Testing the leakage detector

The water detector alarm is triggered when two of the three pins on the bottom make contact with water or other fluids which resulted. To reproduce this you can use two wet fingers on 2 of the 3 contacts.

It is recommended to check visually every week if the LED  ashes correctly (every 30 seconds)
